Quick answer: Prodege's international terms list both Swagbucks and InboxPounds, but their public help pages describe different UK reward features. That shared corporate connection does not establish that accounts, balances or offers are shared, or answer whether one person may hold memberships on both. InboxPounds' official help centre documents PayPal and eCards; its older payout tutorial and later update do not establish a single current UK minimum. This is a public-document comparison, not an account test, and there is no universal winner.

Key facts

  • Corporate connection: Prodege's international terms list both brands; InboxPounds' public privacy/help material is not a complete statement of cross-brand account rules.
  • UK scope: InboxPounds' help centre says InboxPounds.co.uk is for UK residents; Prodege also publishes terms for international users of its sites.
  • Documented activities: surveys, offers, games and shopping-related rewards appear in both brands' official material, but the menus are not identical or guaranteed to be available to every account.
  • Rewards: Swagbucks uses SB points and a changing rewards catalogue; InboxPounds' help centre lists PayPal and eCards.
  • Minimums: do not compare a single gift-card denomination with a cash-out threshold; InboxPounds' public threshold history needs a current in-account check.

How this guide was built: We checked the brands' public terms, rewards pages and help centres on 2026-10-13, including update dates where shown. We report only activities documented by the provider and separate older payment guidance from later updates. No account was opened and we did not test a reward or payout.

Prodege's international terms, effective 1 July 2024, list both Swagbucks and InboxPounds among the sites it owns and operates. That supports a common corporate connection, but it is not evidence that the two services share one dashboard, survey inventory, reward balance or account. The same terms also allow additional terms for particular sites and features.

InboxPounds' help centre says InboxPounds.co.uk is for UK residents. Swagbucks publishes international terms and a separate rewards catalogue. Those differences are relevant when comparing products, but they do not prove that one brand offers a larger number of UK surveys or better offers on a particular day. We did not access either member dashboard.

Earning activities documented by each provider

The table summarises what each provider's public documentation describes. It is not a complete, live inventory: offers can be account-specific, time-limited or withdrawn, and the two help centres do not publish a synchronized feature list.

Publicly documented activitySwagbucksInboxPounds
Surveys and pollsSwagbucks' Help Center lists surveys and polls.InboxPounds' Help Center describes Cash Surveys and survey-provider crediting.
Shopping and cashbackShop & Earn and Magic Receipts are listed in its Help Center. Its help material describes shopping and cashback offers; account offers require tracking through the listed link.
Games and offersGames and Discover offers appear in Swagbucks' current help list.InboxPounds describes Cash Offers, games and free Cash Tasks; individual offer terms and tracking apply.
Search and emailWeb search is listed as an SB-earning method.PaidEmails are documented as a small reward and a way to receive offer notices. InboxPounds says its separate Search and Earn programme ended in June 2025.
Other extrasThe available activities depend on the member account and current catalogue.A UK-only Spin & Win feature is documented as a chance after survey disqualification, not a guaranteed earning activity.

Sources checked on 2026-10-13 include Swagbucks' How do I earn SB? and InboxPounds' offer-tracking guidance, PaidEmails FAQ, Search Credits notice and Spin and Win rules. The difference is in the documented mix, not a promise that one menu is always larger or more profitable.

Rewards and cash-out: what can be compared safely

Swagbucks records rewards as SB points and directs members to its live rewards catalogue for gift cards and PayPal options. The catalogue can change by country and reward, so a denomination displayed for one card is not automatically the minimum for every UK redemption. We did not establish a single platform-wide UK minimum across every reward route from the public pages reviewed.

InboxPounds' June 2025 payment update says members can request cash through PayPal or choose eCards, including Mastercard and Amazon.co.uk options; cheque payments were retired. The accessible UK help centre also contains an older April 2024 payment tutorial that says £20 is needed to request payment. A later April 2025 process update says the service was working on letting members redeem below $30, but does not publish the final UK threshold. Because that later post is a plan, not a final rule, we do not present £20 or $30 as a verified current minimum. Check the live payment screen and terms before relying on a threshold.

So there is no meaningful “lower minimum wins” conclusion here. Compare like with like: PayPal cash-out against PayPal cash-out, or a specific gift-card denomination against the same kind of reward. For the mechanics and delay factors, see how UK survey-site cash-outs work.

Account rules: don't infer cross-brand compatibility

The Prodege international terms name both brands, but also say additional terms may apply to a particular site or feature. The public pages reviewed here do not clearly answer whether a user may maintain separate memberships on both Swagbucks and InboxPounds, whether a single login covers both, or whether any rewards transfer. We therefore do not recommend creating a second account or claim that doing so is allowed or prohibited. Check the current terms in each service or ask customer support before registering a second profile. Rules against duplicate accounts within one service should not be confused with cross-brand compatibility.

Choosing by your own priority

  • If you specifically want a UK-resident-only service, InboxPounds states that geographic boundary in its help centre. Its public help documentation also makes offer tracking and cash-out mechanics visible, although the threshold history is not fully reconciled.
  • If you want to compare a points catalogue and several documented online activity types, Swagbucks presents SB, surveys, games, Discover, shopping, receipts and search in its Help Center. Your actual UK reward options still depend on the live catalogue.
  • If your priority is a known cash-out amount, neither headline comparison is enough: check the current PayPal and gift-card options in the account before investing time.
  • If you are deciding whether to use both, treat that as an unresolved terms question—not as a default strategy. Confirm account rules directly first.

This is a choice between documented product features and current account fit, not a claim about which site pays more. For a wider provider overview, see our UK survey-site guide; for InboxPounds-specific mechanics, see our InboxPounds review.

FAQ

Is InboxPounds the same as Swagbucks? No: they are separate brands. Prodege's international terms list both in its sites, but that alone does not mean the accounts, offers or balances are shared.

Which one suits me, Swagbucks or InboxPounds? It depends on which documented activities and reward options you prefer. InboxPounds is stated to be for UK residents; Swagbucks lists SB points and a broader documented activity menu. Neither menu guarantees availability or a particular return.

What is the minimum payout on each? Swagbucks' catalogue is reward-specific. InboxPounds has an older UK help tutorial saying £20, followed by a later update about changing the threshold without stating the final UK amount. Check the live payment screen; this review does not treat either number as a current confirmed threshold.

Does sharing a parent company mean the accounts or balances are shared? No such conclusion follows from shared ownership. The reviewed public pages do not confirm account access, reward transfers or simultaneous separate memberships across both brands. Check with each service before opening another account.

Final Verdict

Neither service is a universal winner. InboxPounds may fit someone who wants a UK-resident service; Swagbucks may fit someone who prefers its points-based catalogue and documented activity mix. Before choosing, compare the live reward catalogue, offer terms and payout rules that apply to your account. Read our InboxPounds review or compare more options in our UK survey-site guide.
