Best-of Mega List
Best Paid Survey Sites in the UK: Published Rewards and Cash-Out Terms
UK survey sites for 2026, compared by published payout terms and official cash-out fields — with clear source status and explicit notes on what could not be verified on official pages.
Survey Reviews UK Editorial Team · Published · Updated · 11 min read

Quick answer: There is no single best UK survey site. Consider Prolific for its published study-rate policy, Qmee for no-minimum PayPal cash-out, or Swagbucks and InboxPounds for a mix of activities. These are separate platforms, not shared accounts. We compare documented features, not measured earnings. A place in this guide does not mean that every redemption condition has been confirmed or personally tested.
Key facts
- Best for a published rate policy: Prolific requires researchers to offer at least £6/$8 per study-hour. Its separate cash-out threshold is £6/$6 in combined approved balances; neither figure predicts your overall hourly earnings.
- Best for no-minimum PayPal cash-out: Qmee. Gift cards have set denominations and separate redemption conditions, including identity verification.
- Best for activity variety: Swagbucks / InboxPounds — surveys, offers and cashback. Current UK cash-out thresholds are not stated on the official pages we could retrieve at the check date, so we do not quote a confirmed figure.
- Published SurveyBods UK redemption step: normally £15 (1,500 points) under its current terms; bank transfer depends on country and account support.
- For a personal estimate, use the earnings record and scenario method. It uses your own records or explicit hypothetical inputs, not a measured market average.
The Options at a Glance (unified fields)
Source records were collected on 13 October 2026, with targeted corrections on 14 October. The dates below refer to the stated source checks, not a test of every feature. Official information checked means desk research, not account opening or a successful withdrawal. A dash means no current method-specific value is published here; it does not mean no minimum or no age restriction.

Check the selected reward before redeeming. Payment methods, thresholds and approval times are separate fields. Ipsos figures are method-specific examples, not a generic £5 cash minimum. Toluna's membership baseline requires a current UK terms recheck. For Prolific's age-source wording, see the eligibility explanation.

Other options and registration restrictions
This is a selected comparison, not a complete list. The following options have different access models or additional source limits; absence from the main table is not a verdict that they do not pay:
- Panelbase / Norstatpanel — Panelbase was integrated into Norstat and rebranded in 2024. Norstatpanel remains a UK consumer panel, but its official information says membership is invitation-only or through selected promotions; it does not offer direct self-registration to everyone. Former Panelbase account and balance outcomes are unverified. See the Panelbase/Norstat transition note.
- OnePulse — GB App Store and Google Play listings are live, and OnePulse's official consumer page states $20 to PayPal every 30 days. UK registration, paid-pulse supply and any UK-specific currency treatment were not tested. See the OnePulse status page.
- Pinecone Research — product research and some product-testing opportunities, with general membership from 18. A current UK-specific GBP redemption threshold remains unconfirmed. Its public global dollar threshold is not a £10 UK minimum. See the Pinecone Research profile.
No platform in this guide has been personally tested by us. For OnePulse, the outstanding issue is UK account currency handling, not a different first-hand-testing standard.
Why some sites are not listed
We look for an identifiable operator and evidence of UK access. This guide does not aim to list every qualifying platform. Reward methods, redemption thresholds and registration restrictions are checked separately: an unknown threshold is a limitation to disclose, not evidence of no minimum or an automatic reason to exclude a platform.
How This Guide Was Built
Inclusion criteria: identifiable operator and evidence of UK access. We group the selected platforms by documented features, without assigning a numerical ranking. We show method-specific payout rules where supported, leave unresolved values open, and separate published rules from historical examples or marketing claims. Inclusion does not certify every cash-out condition. No hands-on trials were run.
Current UK Options by Use Case
Prolific — Best for a published study-rate policy
Prolific requires researchers to offer at least £6/$8 per study-hour and recommends £9/$12 or more. Its separate cash-out threshold is £6/$6 in combined approved balances, paid via PayPal. Waiting for studies, eligibility and approval affect what you can actually withdraw; the study-rate policy is not an overall earnings guarantee.
Qmee — Best for no-minimum PayPal cash-out
Qmee states no minimum for PayPal cash-out. Gift cards instead have set denominations and separate redemption conditions, including identity verification. Your PayPal account must meet Qmee's checks. Read our full Qmee review.
Swagbucks / InboxPounds — Best for activity variety
Both are Prodege brands combining surveys, offers and cashback. Current UK cash-out thresholds are not stated on the official pages we could retrieve, so we don't quote a confirmed figure — check the logged-in account. See the InboxPounds review.
YouGov — Best for an established research name
YouGov offers points redeemable for cash or gift cards. Check the current member Rewards page for the applicable threshold; older published figures are not treated here as confirmed current UK terms.
Toluna, LifePoints, Ipsos i-Say, Opinion Outpost — Established panels
These panels have different reward rules. Ipsos iSay has separate gift-card and PayPal redemption examples; LifePoints' current point costs depend on the member catalogue. Toluna lists PayPal and UK retail e-vouchers, while Opinion Outpost's UK terms specify membership from 16. Do not apply one panel's age or threshold to another.
OnePoll and SurveyBods — Different redemption evidence
OnePoll's old panel FAQ now redirects, so its current threshold needs a new source check. SurveyBods' current terms specify normal UK redemption steps of £15 / 1,500 points. Bank transfer is available only where supported for the country and account; the provider's processing target is not a guarantee of bank arrival.
How Much Can You Realistically Earn?
For scenario-based earnings estimates and their assumptions, use how much you can really earn. This roundup does not present a typical monthly total because availability, qualification and time differ by user.
How Paid Surveys Work in the UK
Brands pay research companies to collect opinions, and those companies pass a slice to you. You complete a profile, get invited to surveys you match, and earn points or cash. The catch is screening: you may be disqualified after answering demographic questions. The full advertised reward normally requires successful completion; any screen-out points or prize-draw entry depends on the panel's rules.
Survey Sites to Avoid in the UK
Walk away from any site that charges a joining fee, promises unrealistic income, has no privacy policy, or refuses to name the company running it. Legitimate panels are free to join. If a "survey" asks for bank details before you've earned anything, treat it as a red flag.
Do You Need to Pay Tax on Survey Income?
Tax depends on how the income is classified and your personal situation. As a general rule, HMRC's trading allowance can cover low gross side income, but you may still need to tell HMRC, and some circumstances require Self Assessment registration. Our UK survey tax guide covers the detail. This is general information, not tax advice.
FAQ
What is the best UK survey site in 2026? There's no single winner: Prolific for a published study-rate policy, Qmee for no-minimum PayPal cash-out, and Swagbucks or InboxPounds for activity variety. We pick by use case, not measured income.
How much can you realistically earn? There is no verified market-wide typical total. Use the earnings scenario model and substitute your own active time, qualification rate and completed-task rewards.
Which UK survey sites pay by PayPal? PayPal is offered by several of the sites above; the ones confirmed on their own pages at the check date are noted in the table. We no longer publish a blanket PayPal list, because each provider's current options change.
Are UK survey sites legit? Many listed sites are established panels run by named companies; where a site's current UK terms could not be verified we say so. Avoid any site that charges a fee.
Which survey site has no minimum payout? Qmee states no minimum for PayPal cash-out. Gift cards have separate denominations and conditions. Prime Opinion also advertises no minimum on UK reward pages, but that marketing statement is not equivalent to a tested redemption flow; see our no-minimum guide.
Do you pay tax on survey earnings in the UK? It depends on classification and your personal situation; the trading allowance can cover low gross side income, but registration may still be required in some circumstances.
Final Verdict
Match the site to your priority: Prolific for a published study-rate policy, Qmee for no-minimum PayPal cash-out, or Swagbucks and InboxPounds for activity variety. The table compares published features and records gaps; it does not certify that every reward or account can be paid out. Confirm your selected reward and its conditions before relying on it.

Source scope and correction notes
The table does not use third-party thresholds as current rules. Historical numbers are kept in the cash-out evidence notes, separate from current method-level examples.
Targeted cross-checks on 14 October 2026:
- Qmee: official FAQ and terms, distinguishing no-minimum PayPal from gift-card denominations and verification.
- Opinion Outpost: UK membership terms, confirming UK residence, age 16+ and one account per person.
- SurveyBods: current terms, covering 18+ eligibility and normal UK £15 / 1,500-point redemption steps.
- LifePoints: reward terms and older official UK guidance. The £5 / 550 LP historical example is not treated as a current universal minimum.
- Ipsos iSay: UK rewards and terms. The existing research record was corroborated by official search-index text; some pages could not be fetched directly in this pass.
- InboxPounds: Prodege's acquisition announcement and dated payment guidance, distinguishing its cash rewards from Swagbucks' SB points.
- Swagbucks: official explanation of SB points. This general help page does not establish current UK reward denominations.
- OnePoll: former panel FAQ, now redirecting to the company homepage. Previously reported amounts have not been reconfirmed.
A page read or search-index match does not constitute an account, app or payment test. Field-specific limits remain visible above; unchanged source records retain their earlier dates.
