Qmee Review 2026: No-Minimum Cash-Out, PayPal & Gift Cards (UK)
An evidence-led Qmee UK review: no-minimum cash-out rules, PayPal and gift-card checks, current earning features, survey screening and realistic limitations.
Survey Reviews UK Editorial Team · Published · Updated · 8 min read

Quick answer: Qmee's practical distinction is its stated no-minimum PayPal cash-out. Its FAQ says funds should appear within a few minutes, while warning that banking hours, public holidays and external systems can delay them; that is Qmee's estimate, not a guarantee. PayPal must be verified, registered in the same country as your Qmee account and not linked to another Qmee account. Gift cards have separate identity checks and may have their own minimum denominations. This review checks public UK terms and FAQs; we did not open an account or test a payout.

How this guide was built: We checked Qmee's public FAQ and terms, plus the UK company record for the named operator. We distinguish provider statements from our assessment. No Qmee account was opened; this is not a hands-on payout test.
What Qmee offers in the UK
Qmee is a free app and desktop service. The UK terms describe surveys, sponsored search results, third-party offers and occasional extra activities; Qmee's FAQ also lists cashback, gaming offers and a Daily Ponder. The mix is not a promise that every activity will be available to every account at all times. The service terms say survey rewards are credited for surveys fully completed and that survey providers set eligibility and may apply additional conditions.
The rewards are held in a Qmee account balance that the service calls a “piggy bank”. Qmee says survey rewards are added in real time. Its FAQ describes a five-day survey or Daily Ponder streak that can increase survey rewards; the terms reserve the right to change or withdraw extra rewards. Treat the streak as a changeable feature, not a dependable earnings rate.

The cash-out rules that matter
| Route | What Qmee says | Practical check |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | No minimum cash-out; account must be fully verified, registered in the same country as Qmee, and not already linked to another Qmee account. | Use a verified UK PayPal account and check the account link before building a balance. Qmee says the PayPal account link cannot simply be removed later. |
| Gift card | Gift cards are listed as an option; Qmee's FAQ says identity must be verified and, under its described route, a PayPal account must be linked and a cash-out of any amount made to PayPal first. | Qmee's terms allow identity checks through PayPal or an alternative service, and say some gift cards have their own minimum denomination. Check the specific card and instructions in your account. |
| Charity | The FAQ lists donations to participating charities and says Qmee takes no commission from the donation. | The participating organisations are selected by Qmee and may change; check the live list before choosing. |
Qmee's UK FAQ says PayPal cash-outs usually appear “within a few minutes”. It also warns that banking hours, public holidays and systems outside its control can delay payment. This wording describes Qmee's expected processing and is not a service-level guarantee or evidence that we tested a UK withdrawal. Gift cards are sent by email according to the FAQ, but the exact options and denominations can change.
One useful distinction: no minimum applies to the PayPal cash-out rule; it does not necessarily mean every gift card is redeemable at any tiny balance. Nor does it remove the need to pass account and payment-provider checks. For a missing survey reward, Qmee asks users to include the survey ID or the date and time plus issue details; for a delayed payout, contact Qmee through its official support route and keep the account and transaction details. For a platform-by-platform guide to payout thresholds and processing, see how UK survey-site cash-outs work.
Starting an account without creating avoidable problems
Qmee's public terms say the service is intended for UK residents accessing it from the UK and set a minimum age of 16. They also limit users to one account. Registration is described as free: enter an email and password, then complete profile questions so Qmee can match surveys. Keep profile answers accurate and consistent; the FAQ lists mismatched eligibility, filled quotas and quality checks as reasons a survey can be declined.
Before the first withdrawal, read the PayPal conditions and choose the intended account carefully. The FAQ says a linked PayPal account cannot be unlinked, although additional PayPal accounts may be linked. For gift cards, Qmee's FAQ says users need to verify identity; its terms reserve the right to require identity checks and explain that card thresholds vary. These steps are easy to miss if “no minimum” is read as “no checks”.
Qmee also has a privacy trade-off worth understanding. Its terms say survey information such as age, postcode and answers can be shared with the relevant survey partner, and may be aggregated and shared with other third parties. Read Qmee's Privacy Notice and check the account controls before joining, especially if you are considering surveys marked as requesting personally identifiable information. The FAQ says those surveys can be turned off in the survey tab.
What the no-minimum feature does — and does not — solve
The benefit is liquidity: there is no need to wait for a £5, £10 or £20 PayPal threshold before requesting a payout. That can suit people who want to cash out small balances as they go, or who are trying a survey app cautiously before committing more time.
It does not fix the main uncertainty in survey work: whether a suitable survey is available, whether you qualify, and how long completion takes. Qmee does not publish a guaranteed UK survey volume or a reliable hourly rate. Its FAQ says surveys arrive when providers make them available and describes possible screening declines. We therefore do not repeat a third-party hourly estimate as if it were a predictable Qmee wage. Compare the reward and stated time for each task, and treat any actual rate as your own observed result over several sessions.
Cashback and game offers have different risks from surveys. Qmee says cashback rewards can take up to 90 days after a tracked qualifying transaction, depending on the brand, and may be rejected if the advertiser's conditions were not met. The offer terms govern the required purchase, new-customer status, tracking and cancellation. Do not buy something or take out a subscription solely to chase a reward unless you understand the cost and cancellation terms.
Is Qmee legitimate, and what can we verify?
Qmee's UK terms identify Kantar UK Ltd, company number 03073845, as the operator. Companies House lists Kantar UK Ltd under that number as an active company. The terms also describe how survey rewards are credited, payment routes, gift-card checks and circumstances in which accounts or services may be restricted. Those are verifiable identity and policy signals; they are not a guarantee that every survey will credit or every account will have a trouble-free payout.
This review did not register, complete a survey or test a cash-out. Our assessment is limited to the named operator, public product terms and published payment rules. If you encounter a missing reward, use Qmee's support route and include evidence; if considering a third-party cashback or gaming offer, keep its separate advertiser terms as well.
Qmee compared with other UK options
Qmee and Prolific solve different problems. Qmee's distinctive published point is the absence of a minimum PayPal cash-out; Prolific publishes researcher-facing participant-pay guidance for its studies, but study access and withdrawal rules work differently. “No minimum” and a study pay policy are not the same measure, so there is no universal winner. See our Prolific vs Qmee comparison and Prolific's published underpayment policy for the distinction.
Compared with Swagbucks or InboxPounds, Qmee foregrounds survey rewards and a low-friction PayPal cash-out, while other platforms may combine more offer types or use different reward thresholds. Availability and payment conditions change, so compare the exact UK account options rather than relying on a headline payout claim. The overview is in our UK survey app guide, and the broader threshold comparison is in UK survey sites with no minimum payout.
FAQ
Is Qmee legit? Qmee's UK terms name Kantar UK Ltd as operator and publish payment and account terms. That supports the identity of the service, but it is not a guarantee of survey acceptance or an individual payout; we did not test an account.
Does Qmee have a minimum payout? Qmee says there is no minimum for PayPal cash-outs. The linked PayPal account must be verified, registered in the same country and not linked to another Qmee account. Gift cards may have separate verification rules or a card-specific minimum.
How much can you earn on Qmee? Qmee does not publish a guaranteed UK hourly rate. Survey supply, eligibility, screening and completion time vary, and we have not measured earnings.
How fast does Qmee pay? Qmee says PayPal cash-outs appear “within a few minutes”, but it also warns about banking hours, public holidays and external delays. This is its estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time.
Qmee vs other UK survey apps? Qmee is notable for a no-minimum PayPal cash-out; Prolific publishes participant pay guidance for its research studies. These measure different things, so compare the rules that matter to you.
Verdict
Qmee may suit you if you want small, flexible survey rewards and value the option to cash out a low PayPal balance. It is a weaker fit if you need predictable work or a dependable hourly return: Qmee publishes neither a guaranteed survey supply nor a fixed UK earnings rate, and surveys can be declined. Check the one-account and PayPal rules before starting, and read the separate conditions before choosing a gift card or commercial offer. Compare alternatives in our best UK survey apps.
