Survey Account Rules and Suspensions
A practical guide to profile consistency, duplicate accounts, VPN use, quality checks and appeals.

Quick answer
Most panel restrictions relate to identity, location, duplicate accounts, inconsistent answers or response quality. Read the membership terms before joining and use the official appeal route with clear evidence if an account is restricted.
One person, one account
Many panels limit membership to one account per person, and some also publish a household limit. Creating a replacement account instead of updating an existing one can look like duplication.
Location and device signals
Country eligibility can be checked against account, payment and connection information. VPNs, proxies, shared devices or frequent location changes may trigger review even when there is an innocent explanation.
Answer quality and consistency
Rushed responses, contradictory profile details, failed attention checks or repeated patterns can lead to survey rejection or account review. Keep profile answers current and read questions carefully.
Inactivity and reward expiry
Some terms allow points to expire after a period or treat prolonged inactivity separately. These are platform-specific rules, so record the actual period and whether account activity resets it.
What to do after a restriction
Use the official support or appeal route. State what happened, provide the relevant date and reference, and ask which term or activity caused the decision.
Do not create another account while an appeal is open unless support explicitly tells you to do so.
- Account email or member ID
- Date the restriction appeared
- Recent survey or cash-out reference
- Relevant screenshots
- A concise explanation and requested resolution
What an appeal cannot promise
A complete appeal can help a provider review the case, but it cannot guarantee reinstatement. Survey Reviews UK cannot access internal fraud signals or intervene in a provider's account decision.
Practical checklist
- Use one accurate account
- Keep country and payment details consistent
- Avoid VPNs unless the panel permits them
- Update your profile instead of creating a new account
- Read questions at a normal pace
- Appeal through official support with evidence

Can I create a new account after losing access?+
Do not assume so. A replacement account can breach duplicate-account rules; use the official recovery or appeal process first.
Can a VPN affect a survey account?+
Yes. Some panels use location signals and may treat a VPN or proxy as inconsistent with the registered country.
Why can points expire?+
Some platforms publish expiry or inactivity rules. The period and conditions vary, so check the current terms for that panel.
What should an appeal include?+
Include the account reference, date, relevant activity, supporting screenshots and a concise request for review.
